Kaitlyn Dawson

A born and raised Houstonian, Kaitlyn was thrilled to return to Houston in 2016 after graduating with honors from the University of Texas School of Law.

While in law school, Kaitlyn competed in as many mock trial and moot court competitions as she could, and was a Finalist in the 2014 Gardere Novice Mock Trial Competition, a Champion and Best Advocate in the 2016 Strasburger & Price Mock Trial Competition, and won the Best Opening Statement in the Judge Paul Joseph Kelly Jr., Invitational Trial Competition.

While never forgetting her Aggie roots, Kaitlyn demonstrated her passion for Texas law through service; She served as the inaugural co-chair of the Student Steering Committee, a committee dedicated to facilitating communication between law students, alumni, and Texas Law. As the co-chair of the Student Steering Committee, she also served as the student member of the Alumni Association Executive Committee.

Additionally, Kaitlyn had the privilege of serving as a judicial intern for the Honorable Ewing Werlein, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

When not working, Kaitlyn enjoys SCUBA diving, cycling, traveling, losing her voice at Aggie football games, and pumpkin spice lattes.
