Partner
Avery Sheppard represents plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes litigation, including construction, oil and gas, commercial, and personal injury matters. He regularly appears before judges, juries, and arbitrators across Texas and the United States.
Avery has tried numerous trials and arbitrations as lead attorney. In the past five years, he has successfully defended several companies from multi-million-dollar claims at trial by securing take-nothing judgments for his clients. He also obtained an eight-figure settlement for a group of landowners and mineral interest owners after the blowout of an oil and gas well in rural Texas. Avery regularly presents at Continuing Legal Education conferences and volunteers his time as a pro bono attorney.
