Michelle Blair
Partner
Regardless of the forum or nature of the case, Michelle distills complex legal issues to efficiently and persuasively present the client’s story—and why they should win—to a court or tribunal. Michelle understands that the needs of each client and case are unique and works diligently to achieve their goals.
As an appellate specialist, she ensures error at the trial level is preserved, crafts the questions and instructions jurors use to decide a case, then formulates arguments for the appellate courts to defend favorable outcomes below or obtain reversals. As a trial lawyer, she develops creative legal strategies and drafts motions that result in summary dispositions, encourage settlement, or prepare the case for trial. And as an advocate in international arbitration, she investigates the underlying facts to prepare witness statements and synthesizes complex arrays of foreign and domestic laws to prepare persuasive briefing and present the client’s case at the arbitration hearing.
