Founded by the TIRR Foundation, this collaborative neurotrauma research initiative advances research focused on traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries.

Ware Jackson is proud to announce that six of our partners have been recognized by Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters publication, as Texas Super Lawyers in 2026. Only 5% of Texas attorneys are selected in a multi-phase process based on peer recognition and professional achievement. This year’s Super Lawyer honorees are Don Jackson, Tim Lee, Eileen O’Neill, Paul Smith, Dennis Barrow, and Ferg McNiel. Additionally, partner, Avery Sheppard and associate, Simone Dawson, have been recognized as one of the 2026 Texas Rising Stars. Less than 2.5% of Texas attorneys are selected for this honor.

Ware Jackson associates, Jordan Parker, and Matt Welsh, were excited to attend the week-long ABOTA Trial College in Chicago, a program focused on developing and refining trial advocacy skills. Throughout the week, they learned from accomplished trial lawyers and judges, participated in hands-on exercises, and gained valuable insight into effective courtroom strategy and presentation. The week culminated in a mock trial before real judges and jurors, giving Jordan and Matt the opportunity to put their skills to the test and apply what they learned in a realistic courtroom setting. The experience was an invaluable opportunity to further develop their trial skills and connect with fellow advocates from across the country.
